Adirondack Wedding on the Lake // Kelye and Christopher // The Woods Inn, Inlet, New York

As Rob and I were packing up the car to leave Kelye and Chris' wedding, we said to each other, "What a perfect wedding!" It was a beautiful, brisk autumn day in the Adirondacks. The foliage was fantastic, the venue was a perfect Adirondack setting, and Kelye and Chris could not have been more fun to hang out with. To top it off, we shot with the incredibly talented, super fun Jordan Balash. Thank you again, Kelye and Chris, for having us be a part of your big day!

Triple Wedding - Three sisters get married on the same day - Upstate New York Barn Wedding

Naomi Reichard sent Bear In Motion an inquiry and stated that her and two of her sisters would be getting married on the same day. I thought it might be a typo or we just misunderstood her. We decided to set a time to talk on the phone and sure enough, it was true! Three sisters were to be married on the same day! As a cinematographer and storyteller, I immediately started thinking of the logistics and how we would be able to properly tell the story of three separate weddings, six individuals and their families, all coming together on one day.  Even with the added pressure and some other professionals saying "you're crazy to take that wedding," there was no way we could pass up a chance to tell such a unique story. 

We met up with the Reichard sisters, Hannah, Naomi and Elisabeth along with their fiances Mike, Caleb and Hunter before the wedding. We had a blast filming a pre-wedding shoot in Hamilton, New York.

The wedding went off without a hitch! Bear In Motion brought a crew of five and each couple had their own photographers (a total of 10 photographers and cinematographers)! SWANK by design, the wedding coordinator, was a pleasure to work with and kept everything moving. Elevated Events had everyone on the dance floor all night. Caleb Brown, one of the grooms actually made all the tables and benches used at the wedding. Way to go, man! The tables were topped with gorgeous flowers by Floribunda Designs and everything was brought together with amazing artwork by Adirondack Ink.

Saratoga National - Saratoga Springs wedding - Meaghan & David

I met Meaghan and Dave in a little coffee shop outside their apartment in NYC to discuss details of their wedding. After talking with them for only five minutes, I realized, this wedding was going to be great! Meaghan shared a story that was so profound and put everything into perspective. She had to have emergency brain surgery three months before the wedding. After that, they realized they should not get so caught up in all the details and anxiety of the planning, but instead cherished every day leading up to their wedding. "Iron Meg" is one tough cookie. She has trained and completed an Iron Man. She's no joke! Dave is also an accomplished athlete and a super laid back guy. We felt like old friends after the wedding was over.

Beacon, NY wedding - The Roundhouse - Chelsea & Chris

Beacon, New York is such a beautiful, trendy, hip little town along the Hudson River. It is no wonder Chelsea and Chris wanted to get married there. Sitting on the edge of a water fall, the Roundhouse is the jewel of the town and hosted one of the most beautiful weddings we were able to be a part of. Although I could go on and on about how beautiful the ceremony was along the river, and the stunning reception hall, the real prize here was Chelsea and Chris. These two are some of the most kind, easy-going and fun people you could ever meet! Their family and friends are magnetic and so are they. Thank you, Chelsea and Chris, we throughly enjoyed spending time with you on your beautiful wedding day!
